The World is In Your Hands at Superior Instruction Center- Literacy & Academics.
I provide online and in person tutoring services for students in k-12th grade. I have extensive experience and training with students who have social, behavioral, and educational challenges. I develop an individualized tutoring plan for each student but generally focus on literacy skills, basic math skills, life skills, and social skills. In addition to this, I create fun, exciting, and engaging lessons while integrating technology. I provide
*Explicit instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, reading, fluency, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension.
* Reading and literacy support for students with diagnosis of ADD/ADHD, Autism, Down's syndrome, Developmental Delay and more.

About Us
Tonya O’Neal, M.Ed.
CEO & Founder
My name is Tonya O'Neal. I received an Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Memphis and a Master's in Special Education from Cambridge College. I received a certification in Instructional Design Technology in 2020 from the University of Memphis. In addition to this, I will complete a Certification in Literacy from the University of Memphis in 2021.
I currently teach in the special education (Exceptional Children) program. I have over 15 years of experience in the classroom. I am highly certified to teach Literacy and English Language Arts. I have been tutoring students privately outside of the classroom since 2015. I have the education, background, and training to develop programs to cater to your child's specific educational and social needs during our tutoring sessions.
As a parent of a daughter with autism, I personally have seen her struggle in the educational system and social settings. She inspires me daily to use my skills to help students with social, behavioral, and educational challenges succeed through one-on-one virtual or in person tutoring sessions, where a student can physically be where ever he or she is most comfortable.
